Have you spoken with your vet about natural options? I'm sure he can give you some recommendations specific to your dog's needs.
Depends why there is pain. What breed. How old. In the knees or hips. These are all factors. Take it to your vet. If it's arthritis there are options for you to get for your dog. Shots (cartrophen) or pills (osteoform) those are just examples. At the vet clinic where I work there is a liquid called natujoint which is natural. If it's not arthritis it could be an acl, luxated patella or hip displasiya. It's something you probably want to get checked out.
cod liver oil.
I had a chow chow and a lab-mix that were both 14 - They had terrible hip & joint pain.. i eventually had to put them down.. But for the last part of their lives we had been giving them Dr.Franks Joint pain relief for dogs and cats.. We gave it to them when they were having "bad days' and it made a significant difference..If they had shown signs earlier-- i would hope maybe we may have given it to them longer and maybe it would've been able to have time to permanently help the issues.. But all is as it should be ..This is a safe all-natural flavorless spray you add to water.. (i assume flavorless- my chow was VERY picky and never did she refuse the water) .. Good luck- this stuff did wonders for our two girls and i hope it helps! You can find it at http://www.MyPetsPainRelief.com
